While retaining the sweetness of Western-style confectionery imparted by bourbon casks
that defined YAMAGA The First, YAMAGA 2026 Edition offers added depth through layers of cask aromas.
By maturing the whisky further, we pursued even greater depth and smoothness.
With each sip, a gentle sweetness gradually unfolds, leaving a pleasant, lingering finish.

Tasting Note
香り：焼きたてのアップルパイを思わせる甘香ばしい香りの中に香り高いリンゴのアロマ。そしてバニラの優しい甘い香りが重なりあう。
味わい：フルーツタルトのような果実の上品な甘味とカスタードクリームを思わせるまろやかでリッチな味わい。
フィニッシュ：焼きプリンを連想させるカラメルの心地よい甘苦さに、リンゴのコンポートのような奥行きのある甘く長い余韻。
Aroma: The sweet aroma of freshly baked apple pie gives way to the bright, fragrant aroma of fresh apples, layered with the gentle sweetness of vanilla.
Palate: An elegant sweetness reminiscent of a fruit tart is complemented by the smooth, rich flavor of custard cream.
Finish: A pleasant bittersweet note reminiscent of crème caramel is followed by a deep, sweet, lingering finish of apple compote.

Tasting Note
香り：優しいバニラの香りの中にフィナンシェの甘香ばしさと、マーマレードのようなジューシーな香りが広がり、奥でスモーキーな香りが全体の香味を引き上げる。
味わい：焼きリンゴのような温かみのある甘さの中に、メープルシロップのコクある甘みが広がる。
フィニッシュ：レモンピールチョコレートを思わせるビターな甘苦さに、穏やかなピートが重なるドライで心地よい余韻。
Aroma: Delicate vanilla gives way to the sweet caramelised aroma of financier and juicy marmalade-like notes, while a smokiness in the background elevates the overall aroma and flavor.
Palate: The warm sweetness of baked apple gives way to the rich sweetness of maple syrup.
Finish: The pleasantly dry finish layers a bittersweet character reminiscent of lemon peel chocolate with gentle peat.

味わい：フィナンシェの甘く焦げた香味、甘くフルーティな洋ナシのコンポートやマーマレード、ビターチョコレートの芳ばしく心地よい苦み
フィニッシュ：ヘーゼルナッツが入ったバニラチョコレート、バタートーストの香ばしく甘い豊かな余韻
Aroma: Chocolate chiffon cake with vanilla cream, caramel, apple compote, maltyness.

レーズンサンドの華やかな香りとバター風味に、
アプリコットの甘酸っぱさやナッツの旨みが加わり、
焼き洋菓子のようなブレンドが完成しました。
The third edition of New Born from Yamaga Distillery,
located in the northern part of Kumamoto Prefecture.
It features the elegant aroma and buttery richness of raisin sand cookies,
complemented by the sweet and tangy notes of apricot and the savory depth of nuts.
This creates a harmonious blend reminiscent of baked pastries.

熊本県北に位置する山鹿蒸溜所第2弾のニューボーン。
花の蜜やスポンジケーキのような優しい甘さ、
プラムやアメリカンチェリーのような甘酸っぱさ、
かすかなピート香の凛とした美しさが特徴的です。
キャラメルの風味も重なり、ふくよかさが広がります。
The second edition New Born from Yamaga
Distillery, located in the northern part of Kumamoto Prefecture.
This blend comprises carefully selected ten barrels
aged for 14 to 20 months in bourbon casks.
It features a gentle sweetness akin to flower nectar and sponge cake,
along with a sweet and sourness reminiscent of plums and American cherries.
Its noble beauty is accentuated by a subtle peaty aroma.
The overlapping caramel notes further enrich its full-bodied character.

熊本県北「山鹿」で誕生した初のニューボーン。
良質な地下水と高温多湿な盆地の気候を活かし、
バーボン樽で熟成された原酒をブレンド。
青りんごやキンモクセイの香りと
ローストナッツや上品な麦の風味が、
繊細ながらもしっかりとしたボディを感じさせます。
The first release of New Born from Yamaga in
northern Kumamoto Prefecture.
The blend is made by taking advantage of the
high-quality groundwater and the hot and humid
climate of the basin and blending the original spirit matured in bourbon casks.
The aroma of green apple and fragrant olive and
the flavor of roasted nuts
and fine barley give it a delicate yet robust body.
Tasting Note

味わい：シルキー、金木犀、スポンジケーキ、カシューナッツ、レモンケーキ、クスノキ、メレンゲ、みたらし
