YAMAGA NEW BORN 2023

熊本県北に位置する山鹿蒸溜所第2弾のニューボーン。
花の蜜やスポンジケーキのような優しい甘さ、
プラムやアメリカンチェリーのような甘酸っぱさ、
かすかなピート香の凛とした美しさが特徴的です。
キャラメルの風味も重なり、ふくよかさが広がります。

The second edition New Born from Yamaga
Distillery, located in the northern part of Kumamoto Prefecture.
This blend comprises carefully selected ten barrels
aged for 14 to 20 months in bourbon casks.
It features a gentle sweetness akin to flower nectar and sponge cake,
along with a sweet and sourness reminiscent of plums and American cherries.
Its noble beauty is accentuated by a subtle peaty aroma.
The overlapping caramel notes further enrich its full-bodied character.

Tasting Note

香り：アメリカンチェリー、ラズベリー、プラム、キンモクセイ、ユリ、キャラメル、バニラ、ミント

味わい：シフォンケーキ、カスタードクリーム、ココナッツ、ビターチョコレート、カカオ、焦がしバター、ラム酒、ジンジャー、ブラックペッパー

フィニッシュ：カリン、針葉樹、ピート、パウダリー、熟した柿

Nose: American cherry, Raspberry, Plum, Gold osmanthus(Kinmokusei), Lily, Caramel, Vanilla, Mint

Palate: Chiffon cake, Custard cream, Coconut, Dark chocolate, Cocoa, Burnt butter, Rum, Ginger, Black pepper

Finish: Quince, Coniferous tree, Peat, Powdery, Ripe kaki persimmon

良質な地下水と高温多湿な盆地の気候を活かし、
バーボン樽で熟成された原酒をブレンド。
青りんごやキンモクセイの香りと
ローストナッツや上品な麦の風味が、
繊細ながらもしっかりとしたボディを感じさせます。

The first release of New Born from Yamaga in
northern Kumamoto Prefecture.
The blend is made by taking advantage of the
high-quality groundwater and the hot and humid
climate of the basin and blending the original spirit matured in bourbon casks.
The aroma of green apple and fragrant olive and
the flavor of roasted nuts
and fine barley give it a delicate yet robust body.
